Vladimir A. Kozlov, Academician of Russian Academy of Medicine, Professor, MSc.D, Senior Scientist of Russian Federation.
Vladimir A. Kozlov was born in 1930, in 1951 graduated from the Pavolov State Medical University in St.-Petersburg with a degree in dentistry, next three years worked in Yaroslavl, then returned to St.-Petersburg and has headed Oral Care Department of the City Government.
From 1959 is working in SPbMAPS.
In 1961 became a PhD after preparing theses ⌠Clinical research of teeth replantation■, then continued his research and ten years later acquired doctor▓s degree for ⌠Teeth transplantation■ theses.
For 29 years (1974-2003) has been heading the Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Department in SPbMAPS.
Over 400 of his works were published, including 5 guidebooks, 3 monographs, 4 books, 27 brochures, 9 almanacs. There were written 37 dissertations (7 for doctor▓s degree, others √ for PhD degree) under his supervision.
Currently Professor Vladimir A. Kozlov is Senior MSc.D of the SPbMAPS, International Maxillofacial Surgeons Association board member, St.-Petersburg Dentists Association president, Senior Maxillofacial surgeon of St.-Petersburg.
